Wetherby Bandstand

The band played an entertaining programme at Wetherby bandstand on the 26th May. Thanfully the weather was dry but extremely windy resulting in some players having to quickly catch their music! We were delighted that our friend and former conductor was sat in the audience and came up to conduct one of his favourite pieces 'Stal Himmel'. We were saddened to hear of the death of a dear friend and former band member the week before we played at Wetherby bandstand. We dedicated this piece to Paul Schofield, entitled Guardian of my Soul.
