Proms in the Park. Saturday 27th July.

What a fantastic concert we had on Saturday night! A massive thank you to Claire at the The George and Dragon Melmerby for all your hard work and dedication to make the evening a massive success. Thank you also to Keith and Linda who put loads of work in to making the evening fab. It was fantastic to play alongside Tom Powell Music - hopefully that was not the last time! Thanks to the hugely supportive audience that turned out (in the pouring rain) to support the event! 😀🥁🎺

One of our highlights was the Post Horn Gallop, in which our conductor (Mark Sidwell) and our principal cornet player (Linda Graham) had a horn battle, and selected members of the audience came up to the front to be 'dogs' and 'woofed' - giving the real 'hunt' effect.  

Well done to all involved! A night to remember!
