Durham Miners' Gala

Special thanks to Thrislington Lodge Banner group and the people of West Cornforth for a very enjoyable evening on Friday. Saturday started with the usual honour of playing at the memorial - well done to Linda for her stunning playing of High on a Hill and The Last Post. After the generous sausage sandwiches and hot drink for breakfast (provided by the fantastic Thrislington Lodge Banner group and helpers) we marched into and around Durham. Special thanks to all our players, guests and a particular shout out to Keri and The Harrogate Band for coming to our rescue replacing our wooden spoons with premier drum sticks!
